High Tech Resources for Minimally Verbal Bilingual Students

I once again thank you for your generosity. This device has reached 25 students this year and will continue to be used in speech sessions for years to come. Whether the target is social skills, articulation of speech sounds, or earning a preferred task at the end of a session, my students are engaged and learning through play.

As our world becomes more and more digital, using a device like this iPad to target communication goals is a way to utilize these students' strengths and interests to get the most engagement. I would not have been able to provide that without your help.

My students have used this device to play their favorite app with their favorite character, take turns building grammatical sentences, create their own scenes and story tell and draw in the notebook. Each student's special interest can be brought to the session with less prep time and paper/laminating.

Thank you for all the work you do to give back to our community. The impact on these students does not go unnoticed. Learning can and should be fun and engaging in every facet!”
