Endless Possibilities Are Beautifully Displayed

We cannot begin to thank you enough for all your generosity. This has been quite inspiring to my students in many ways. Knowing that someone who doesn't know them believes in them, their future and potential to endeavor in all wonderful and prosperous things is beautiful. It's an act of kindness that restores faith in our society.

Having book cases has truly been a game changer. At first, it began as a project where I wanted to create a space that allowed me to offer the representation the students needed culturally. Now it has allowed me to showcase different leveled and style of books. Being that the unit itself is pretty tall, it captures the attention of different students of all ages and grades. They often stop by "our little library" to borrow a book. It's created an engaging atmosphere that is both equitable and diverse.

All aspects of literacy is currently at the forefront in all schools, especially ours. The importance and impact of literacy is immeasurable. The ability to read is one of the most recognized indicators of future success. In our society, literacy is essential to participate and contribute to the community. Making sure that the experience and exposure embraces diversity and languages helps them in their academic development. This allows for students from neighborhoods of under expected communities whose native language is not English to have a better learning experience. It allows us to meet them where they are at.

I look forward to filling each shelf with amazing books, games, materials and adventures for the students to cherish. We hope to create more projects that will help us do just that. However, for now, thank you from the bottom of our hearts!”
