A Shelf is a Home for Learning Things

Thank you. We are so pleased with our new home for all our learning materials. The students and I have been thrilled to see a such neat and organized space. Students come in and see all the possibilities of a productive and fun session before them. One of our holiday project was a paper activity where they needed scissors, glue, and stickers. My students were able to find all the materials with minimal teacher input.

Students of course noticed the shelves right away. Then they slowly began to realize that they were able to find items that used to be scattered all over the workspace. They feel more independent and able when they are can find their workbooks and materials. Also they get to explore and comment on the material they have not seen before.

Thank you again for creating this wonderful environment. We would like to expand on improving our therapy/workspace where all our students feel welcome and productive.”
