Comfy Flexible Seating

Thank you so much for donating to upgrade our classroom. We appreciate you and the kindness that you have shown us very much. In our classroom, whenever it's reading time, the students all jump up out of their seats and race to the chairs just so they can sit in the "best spots." It is so comfy and a privilege for them to have! The chairs have a soft cushion and a back rest for them to lean against. The backrest helps the students feel more comfortable in lieu of sitting on the hard floor.

The donated chairs also help the students be able to concentrate on their work. The two chairs have given the students a place to not just read books, but they can also peer edit their own writing easier. The chairs allow the peer editing to happen more effectively because the students can sit close together and quietly share their work. They can share their work with a trusted friend in a safe space where other students will not hear them. The students feel empowered working in this flexible seating area.

The kids in my class didn't like reading until the chairs got here, now they wish reading was all we could do! You really helped improve our classroom. Thank you so much!”
