  • Title 1 Fifth Grade Culmination

    Thank you so much for your generous donations. Thanks to you and your donations, our fifth graders will now be able to have an awards ceremony next week. We will also be giving every student a medal and a trophy to honor all their hard work this school year. They will be given this award during our 5th grade picnic and we will be able to ensure that all students receive one. Many of our students are first generation students, so receiving these awards will not only make our students happy, but their families as well. Thank you so much once again.”

  • Classroom Essentials

    Thank you so much for your contribution to my classroom. The new materials have allowed my students to become much more creative with the new markers, clip boards, and anchor charts! Our new headphones have also been a great tool for them to use when doing independent work, reading time, and testing, which we do a lot of in 5th grade. When we first received the packages one by one, my students were so thrilled to be able to expand their creative palette as well as being able to use clip boards when sitting on the rug. Because we received the items a month or two before Christmas, my students shared that they really felt like this would be a good Christmas since they now had new materials to use. As of right now, my main goal continues to be providing my students with quality education, which is something I am currently funding for but they are starting to enjoy learning about fractions through different modalities. Once again, thank you so much for your contribution to my classroom. Room 61 at Hobart Boulevard Elementary appreciates it so much.”
