EASE Supplies
Funded Sep 29, 2022First, we would like to thank you for your gratitude and thoughtful donations. The resources provided helped jumpstart our student's year in Everyday Arts Special Education (EASE) class. EASE is a special class in which students in the District 75 population are able to participate in various styles of arts including: music, visual arts, dance/movement, and theatre.
As the EASE teacher, I push into classes to provide instruction. I typically store all the materials in a classroom closet and bring out only the materials we will use for that day's lesson. One of the materials that were provided was percussion instruments. Students have the opportunity to explore and learn how to use percussion instruments once a week. Students are very excited to try new things. These resources allowed students to have experiences closely related to general education students.
As the school year continues, students are becoming more aware of school rules, and routines and students are able to follow more complex directions. Now that students are progressing, I would like them to start learning more about theatre and visual arts. I am hoping to order more materials that will be fun learning tools.
Thank you again.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Imani
