These materials allowed my students to find value in their educational space and remember that their teachers value them being in school. The decor and supplies showed my students that we want them to be comfortable, supported, and heard in the classroom. The decor showed them that we wanted them to feel welcomed, and the posters and pencils were supportive supplies that they could utilize at any time, and through our collective efforts, we were able to help our students make it through the school year confident in their own abilities.
