Math Games Galore!
Funded Mar 23, 2023Thank you so much for your generous donation to our class project. The kids have been using the math games to practice their math skills a lot since we received our package. We even had some middle school kids come to our side of the school to play the games with us which was a lot of fun!
When we first saw the materials, all the students were eagar to help unpackage, organize, and play the games. They got to pick a new math game to play right away and a new one each time we got them out. They were a huge hit!
We definitely plan to use them more this year since we will have them for the whole year to help students get engaged with math, especially multiplication, division, and fractions! It's a tricky year as the kids are learning totally new concepts, but with the help of some fun games, the kids start to love math even more than they did before!

Funded Dec 22, 2022My students were SO excited to receive their new flexible seating! They were eager to start using all the materials and have been sharing all the new seating with each other. We talked about the rules of the new items and how to make sure we are safe on them and also how to keep them nice. The bands are very popular as the students like to bounce their feet on them. They also love the wobbly stools as an alternative to a hard standard chair. We also are loving the new cushion seats when there is time to sit on the floor for activities and Smartboard learning.
We are looking forward to our next Donor's Choose Project! We are in need of some educational games, such as multiplication and division games, rounding numbers games, fraction games, ELA games, and much more! We hope that this project will get funded so we can get even more excited about learning 3rd-grade concepts!
