"Teachers Pay Teachers" Pays Off for the Students
Funded Mar 6, 2023As an educator who teaches three different classes, it is sometimes overwhelming to consider the various assignments and activities my students will need in all classes combined. With the support from you all, I was able to use the TPT gift cards to purchase resources I can use in my classroom! This ranges from notes and powerpoints, to exit tickets, to lab manuals, and other engaging activities I can use between my earth science, physics, and AP physics classes. It has been such a time saver to find these resources rather than having to work outside of work to create my own material. Thank you again so much for all of your help!”

Hot (Wheels) for Physics!
Funded Jan 5, 2023When I first started this project, I had told my students what I was hoping we could do if we were to get funded. It was so exciting to update them every time there was a contribution, and they were so ecstatic when they found out the project was funded. The timing was perfect as well because we were moving on to our energy unit a couple weeks following the arrival of the supplies. By having the Hot Wheels, we were able to demonstrate and investigate potential and kinetic energy through labs rather than the traditional powerpoint and notes. There was an immediate difference in how quickly the students understood the concepts compared to last year. Thank you all for supporting my classroom!”

Do You Have Our Back in Physics Class?
Funded Oct 7, 2022Who would've known that getting new chairs could change so much?! Prior to my project being funded, students often had a hard time remaining in their seats due to the lack of comfort. Even if they chose to stand up, it still wasn't the best option. Since getting the new teachers, my students have been able to stay more focused and sit with ease.
Leading up to the project being funded, I would share updates with my students. As we grew closer and closer, the excitement grew! Once we finally received the chairs, some of my students were so eager and willing to help that they put them all together. We could not have done this without the help of our generous donors.
In the future, my projects will be centered more toward student learning in ways that will get them interested and excited. After all, I am here for them!
Thank you again for all the help!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Tabibi
