    My students, my co-teacher, and I are so appreciative of your generous donation. In our classroom, our cozy corner is a very popular spot that we use when kids just need a moment to calm down or simply be. In our old classroom it was its own center, but now in this temporary classroom we have to really maximize the limited space we have. These items will be a fantastic edition to our classroom.”

  • Help Our Pandas Get Ready to Learn!

    I'm sorry to get this to you so late! The next school year! But the impact was fantastic. Students would come to the cozy corner when they were sad, frustrated, or angry and use the materials to calm down. We also had a lot of heart to heart chats in there as well.

    Over time students would ask if they could go to the cozy corner when they were feeling a little upset.

    The pillow was a huge hit, it got lots of squeezes. The sensory bottles helped a lot of children calm down. The sand timers and books where a good way for students to learn about their emotions and keep track of how much time they were in there. This school year we've set up our cozy corner again.”
