Empowering My Students to Strive!
Funded Jan 28, 2025On behalf of my students and myself, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation toward sensory items for our classroom. Your support means so much to us and will make a lasting impact on the children’s learning and development.
The sensory tools and resources we are now able to provide will create opportunities for our students to focus better, regulate their emotions, and engage in purposeful learning experiences. These items will not only support their developmental needs but also help foster an inclusive and welcoming environment where every child feels valued and supported.
Your kindness reminds us of the power of community and the difference we can make together in shaping young minds and hearts. Thank you for investing in our students and helping to ensure they have the tools they need to thrive.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Goldbourne
A Lesson a Day Keep Knowledge at Bay!
Funded Sep 29, 2022Our classroom really benefited from using all the resources that we received. We truly appreciate your kindness. One classroom item that was extremely beneficial to the students was the journal. The journal was used to practice writing their names, letters of the alphabet, numbers, and drawing shapes.
One classroom moment was when the students were encouraged to draw their self-portraits in their new journals. These self-portraits gave the students an opportunity for self-understanding by encouraging them to reflect on who they are. The students were extremely excited when they saw the materials. Some of the students began to ask various questions about the materials, such as "What is that?" "Can I play with it?" "That looks so cool." These materials made their day.
The students are currently learning about mammals. They are also learning about the characteristics of mammals. The next step for my students is for them to draw their favorite mammals in their journals.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Goldbourne
