Relaxing and Therapeutic Wellness Space
Funded Sep 15, 2024I would like to express my deepest gratitude for you kind donation. Our newly furnished space has really made our Wellness Center welcoming and comfortable for students who attend therapy at school on a daily basis.
My students have looked very content upon visiting the Wellness center every day. Many have expressed gratitude in this comfortable space where they can share and process their stressors. Having this new comfortable chair has really made students feel cozy and less stressed.
We are looking forward to continuing to furnish our entire space but for now, this has been an amazing staple to our office. We can't thank you enough.”

Our Wellness Center
Funded Aug 22, 2024I would like to expresses gratitude for making this project come to life. The items we asked for have been used by all our students during therapy sessions and as students drop in to take a quick break before returning to class. Students have benefited from listening to calming music on our new speaker to using calming strips, taking deep breaths, and engaging in mindfulness.
Our students were very excited when they saw the new items in our Wellness Center. I felt like there was a sense of relaxation as students used these interventions where they feel safe and serene. My students have displayed immense gratitude and they can't thank you enough.
We continue to have our Wellness Space open every day of the school year for students to visit. We service many students throughout the day an engage in different forms of therapy. All the items will be used continuously as tools to ensure their needs are being met.”

Wellness Space for Socioemotional Well-being!
Funded Dec 14, 2023The resources that were kindly donated to our wellness space are being used daily when students visit during their recess and lunch time. Students enjoy playing battleship with each other and expanding their creativity with the magnatiles. Students have been able to use the kinetic sand as a calming tool when experiencing strong feelings. The kinetic sand has been an important resource during individual counseling as it also helps students feel calm and relaxed while processing feelings and experiences in their lives.
The students were super excited and eager to open the new materials that were donated. Students continue to visit the room and use all of the supplies daily and have shared it is their favorite part of the day.
All the items that were graciously donated have been used in our Wellness Space. This Wellness Space has been vital for students to use when they are feeling stressed, overwhelmed and have a need to reset for the day. Our goal is to provide a safe space where student can feel well, relaxed, and welcomed.”
