An Organized Classroom Means Organized Minds and Limitless Possibilities
Funded Jul 30, 2023Thanks to your generosity my students RAVE about how my classroom is the best and so fun to all the other 1st graders! Other teachers also compliment me on the organization of my classroom. Pictured are the lights that help control our voice levels during the day, the construction paper that helps us with art/craftivity projects, our blue tracing folders that are worked on each day in our cubbies, punch cards that help with positive reinforcement, and last but not least the fidget box that helps us keep focus or receive a prize!
Not pictured are our utility carts at each table that hold pencil boxes, Chrome books, and tissues. As well as the bins that are both in the library and cabinets, to help with the organization of books and supplies.
Overall, my classroom looks amazing and is filled with love the moment I set it up. The supplies you have helped donated created such a huge impact on all 25 of my students and I each day. I can't thank you enough.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Bati
First Year
Funded Oct 11, 2022Thank you for your generosity of contributing to my first year of teaching! The students have been loving all the materials that have been donated. These materials have not only improved my lessons and student engagement, but also helped keep me organized! The label maker has really been a life saver.
Moving onto the books, One we read specifically, Rosie Revere Engineer, was such a fun read that turned the whole class into engineers! We had read the book together and became engineers like Rosie, and used our creative minds to make structures out of spaghetti and marshmallows. Not only has this book been entertaining, but had drove the students' creative minds into exploring engineering! I had uploaded a picture of some of their structures.
Being a primary teacher, phonics is a big focus each day. With the materials given such as the white board markers, clear folders, and games, the students anticipate for our phonics centers every day! For fun Friday's, the students especially beg to play the phonics bingo game!
Lastly, I am a huge promoter of social emotional learning and it is touched on every day. The Ninja Life Hacks Emotions and Feelings set of books, have really helped my students begin to understand and be aware of their emotions. These books have helped the students overcome issues faced at school as well as helped students be able to communicate their emotions effectively. Thank you again.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Bati
