  • French Fiction Books

    Funded Oct 9, 2022

    These books were read as part of our Book Club unit. Students were asked to agree beforehand on the length of the passage to be read. Then they would meet to discuss different aspects of the text based on the reading lesson of the day: the arc of the story, the main idea, the techniques used by the author (figurative language, description, etc.), the theme, the point of view of the narrator, etc. Students also benefited from the reading by learning new vocabulary words that they added to their lexicon and used in their summaries.

    All in all, we all enjoyed the books we received. I have no doubt that they will continue to benefit other students in the future in many different ways.”
