Colossal Structures
Funded Sep 26, 2022I want to say thank you for donating the funds for my classroom to purchase giant colossal magnetic tiles. It allows me to help my students learn about colors and sorting, as well as recognizing shapes and sizes. As my students continue to grow, the magnetic tiles can help them add strength to their ingenuity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
The students have really enjoyed playing with them. They are very imaginative and have created things like buildings, bridges, a secret hiding place, and even a boat. The tiles also allow my students to exercise their fine and gross motor skills. While developing their building techniques, they move around using their large muscles. They also use smaller movements to connect the magnetic pieces, which strengthens eye-hand coordination and fine motor skills.
My students are spontaneous, loving 3- and 4-year-olds. The tiles allow me to work with my students on their thinking skills: Magnets teach "cause and effect" and other important problem-solving skills that are so essential for developing early brain connections.
The donation has helped in school counseling. From student to teachers, everyone is happy with the development that the donation has helped us in achieving.
So, once again I would like to thank you for the donation you have made to my students and the school.”

Funded Sep 6, 2022I want to say thank you for donating the funds for my classroom to purchase a color printer. My students really like the fact that they can now identify various colors in the spectrum. The students do a lot of hands-on activities in groups. I also send things home with the students to practice with parents or family members. Being able to identify colors is important and when students make connections between colors and items it's amazing. I also teach students about color coding and safety signs. Having them in color will give them a more practical visual sense on how these things look in the real-world.
My students are impulsive, loving 3- and 4-year-olds. They live in a high poverty and transient military area. Our public prekindergarten program is specifically designed and funded for children who are at risk. My students deserve an educational environment that is bright and beautiful. Children are naturally drawn to color, and this color printer has allowed me to create educational activities, that are vibrant and full of life. The donation has helped in school counseling. From student to teachers, everyone is happy with the development that the donation has helped us in achieving.
So, once again I would like to thank you for the donation you have made to the school.”

Month of the Military Family: Support for Military Kids
Funded Nov 10, 2022You did it! I am so grateful and excited. I especially can't wait to see the looks on my students and parents' faces when they participate in all the military activities. Because of your support, students will be able to learn about the different branches of armed services and the history that most of them know very little about. And, best of all, we can make personal memoirs inspired by military themed activities. Each one of you is a true hero for supporting public school kids. Thank you!!!!”
