We Present
Funded Sep 29, 2022On behalf of myself, Dr. Diallo Robinson-Bey and the students of my 9th grade ELA classes in New Visions Advanced Math and Sciences IV;
Your donation of a camera and tripod setup for our classroom is a marvelous addition to our portfolio based learning environment. The camera accelerates our ability to allow students and teachers to review, in real time, video footage of our in class debates. This part of our process helps to enable pertinent peer review and teacher led discussions in order to evaluate presentations looking for specific strengths as well as analyzing specific areas for improvement.
In my experiences, when I engaging students in enabling the visual aide in the classroom, it offers students a real world experience in optics; presentation, tone, argument, description, narrative, perception, perspective, and an analysis of presentation functions among other things. This richness in our learning environment is in great proportion due to the generosity of the Donor's Choose program.
We sincerely thank you all involved with the Donor's Choose Program for providing us with a tool that helps us to reimagine a higher ordered educational variable for our 9th grade English / Language Arts students. May we continue to pivot into success as they capture special moments and develop their presentation effectivenesses.”
