Movement in Math
Funded Dec 29, 2023Thank you for your donation to this project. The items that we received are very beneficial to my classroom. The stools allow my students to use them instead of our regular chairs at our small group table. Additionally, stools give us the opportunity to fit more students at this table since they are less bulky than our chairs.
My students are so excited to begin reading our new books that have been added to our classroom library. The graphic novels are definitely a major hit, especially to our boy students.
Thank you again!”

Lets Wiggle While We Work!
Funded Nov 27, 2023Thank you for your donation. Because of you, we now have wobble stools for our classroom back table. This is beneficial for my students who utilize this table for extra small-group support throughout each school day. Many of my students benefit from movement and the wobble stools allow them to wiggle in their seats! The movement truly helps many of them to better focus while completing various tasks. We appreciate this new addition to our classroom, and it definitely is being enjoyed by all of my students! Thank you again.”

Making Connections With Manipulatives in Math Class
Funded Jul 4, 2023Thank you for your generous donation. With your donation, I was able to purchase items that will help me to support my students in mathematics throughout the school year.
As a special education teacher, my students need lots of visuals and additional manipulatives. Such support allows them to understand concepts that go beyond simply answering questions from the workbook.
While using our new whiteboards and math tools/games, our new stools have been so beneficial as well. They help us to fit more students at my kidney table for small group instruction during each math class. The pocket slips are great to be able to re-use papers and not have to constantly print for all of my students to complete the same worksheets.
Again, thank you very much!”

Funded Jul 3, 2023Thank you for donating to make our classroom library dream a reality! What started out as a small and unorganized library, has now converted into a cozy and inviting space.
My students LOVE to pick out a book from our labeled and full library shelves, and then sit down in one of our rocking chairs to be comfortable while reading. They love to leave their normal desk seats to read in these new flexible seating options.
Our new class headphone set allows our students to also have the opportunity to listen to e-books on their iPads. This has been so beneficial because their e-books give them the opportunity to read beyond the books that we have in our classroom library.
The next step for our classroom is to fill our library shelves with even more and new books!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Canner
