Essential Classroom Basics, Wellness & Snack Items!
Funded Oct 11, 2023Thank you for your help and support. It is greatly appreciated by my students and myself. Your donations have helped foster love and support in my classroom environment. My students are very appreciative and grateful for the support. The items in this project will be stretched a long way and they are essential to my students well being. Having these wellness items and snacks in our classroom ensure that if a child needs something they can have access to it. These wellness items in this project has helped my students to stay confident in who they are and has helped them to maintain and build their self esteem. The snack items in this project has provided nourishment for my students during the school day so that they are not distracted before lunch time during the school day. Some of my students don't get an allowance and can't go to the store in the morning so keeping snacks and breakfast snacks available for them when they need it, is essential to having a safe and harmonious classroom environment.
These items helped my students to stay focused on their learning they didn't have to worry about how they looked or felt or what others may say about them because they didn't have lotion or forgot to put on deodorant or didn't have Chapstick. My female students didn't have to worry about being embarrassed about having to go to the school nurse to ask for sanitary napkins, because they were already stored in their classroom and they had access to them.”

Funded Mar 2, 2023Thank you for supporting my students this past school year. With the items you helped purchase for our classroom, my students were able to have hygiene products in the classroom at their disposal. My students didn't have to be embarrassed about needing deodorant, lotion, for my girls menstrual kits when they were on their cycles. axe spray for my boys. Having a safe place for my students to be able to get the wellness items they needed through out the year was super important to creating a safe classroom environment. The breakfast items and snacks purchased helped feed my students who may have not been able to get breakfast at home, or who came into school and did see a breakfast choice they liked. They were able to still have something for breakfast. The snacks helped give my students who didn't bring lunch or who didn't like the lunch served on a certain day in school something else to eat or have so they would have fuel to complete their school day. I wouldn't have been able to provide these items for my students without your help. My 7th graders absolutely utilized all of the products from this project. Your donations and support will forever be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much on behalf of myself and my students.”

Snacks and Wellness
Funded Sep 21, 2022I would like to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for contributing to my first Donors Choose Project for my students. The Snacks & Wellness items have impacted my classroom tremendously. The wellness items have contributed to my students knowing their is supplies in the classroom for them to take care of themselves if they are in need. My girls especially love the menstrual kits, it helps them from being embarrassed and possibly having a accident in school when they forget to bring their menstrual items with them from home. The snacks have helped with students who don't get a chance to eat breakfast in the morning or who get hungry during the day before lunchtime.”
