My class and I would like to thank everyone who donated funds toward this project. With your donations we were able to get new headphones for my students. We use headphones with our iPads. We use headphones for learning apps and the kids also use them for listening centers in the classroom.
These headphones also help students whose parents cannot afford to get new headphones. We will continue to use these headphones throughout the year and in the future. My students and I would like to again thank everyone who donated funds toward this project.”

My class and I would like thank everyone who donated towards our project. My students enjoy reading with the cds in the listening center. The radio and cds are giving them an opportunity to learn how to read. I believe this will help them as they grow as readers.
My stronger students are enjoying following along when reading different stories. I believe this center will give them the opportunity to build their reading skills. I will continue to add books to this center. I hope to continue using this center in the future.”

My students and I would like to thank everyone who donated to our new classroom rug. I wish you could have seen when my students walked through door and saw the new rug. Their eyes lit up and they were so excited.
They love the smiley faces and they know exactly where to sit. I know this rug will help this class and future kindergarten students. My students enjoy using the rug and it is nice to have a beautiful meeting place. This rug really ties the room together.
Many of my coworkers said the rug is beautiful. So my students and I would like to thank everyone who donated.”

Thank you for the new math centers. My kids love the new math games. We have being using them after we complete a math lesson.
When they saw the counting ice cream cones and number locks they were so excited. They were trying to decide who would get to use them first. They were also excited about the math swatters addition and subtraction. They had so much fun using these new centers.
I will use these math centers next year too. Especially to help the students who are struggling with one to one correspondence when counting. I know my kids next year will love these centers too.”
This project has helped reinforce letter concepts for my students. The kids were so excited when they saw me put this together. They all want a turn at the listening center. I plan on using this during center time. My kids who need help remembering sounds will get to use the center to practice their sounds. The dvds help the kids practice their sounds and they can also practice sight words. I plan on getting different DVDs to help them practice different concepts that are taught in class. I would like to thank everyone who donated towards this project.”
