  • Be Aware! Squirmy Germs

    Funded Oct 17, 2024

On the behalf of our Pre-K4 class, Mrs. Adams & I can't express how grateful we are to have donors like each one of you to help with this project.

Once the boxes were brought into the room, Mrs. Adams & I explained to the students about Donors Choose and how they help support teachers and classrooms.

Every item was much needed and appreciated. Mrs. Adams, call each student name in the morning and issue them a mask.

Pre-K4 are so blessed for the kindness and support that was given. We the (class) would like to say again, "Thank you for the generous donation."”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Bell

  • "Hope Amidst the Tornado"

    Funded Feb 5, 2024

In our Pre-K classroom, we have five centers, which includes the library, writing, art, science and block center. There's a colorful rectangle box in each center. Five scholars are selected each week to put the following items into the rectangle box. These items are: a box of Kleenex, 2 hand sanitizers, and Clorox wipes (Only if needed).

Scholars, were so excited to see what was in the boxes. So we talked about germs and had scholars to guess what could be in the boxes. They ENJOYED IT?

Our current classroom room lesson is Things that Grow. I would like to show the steps of Monarchs.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Bell

  • Midday Zzzz!

    Funded Dec 1, 2022

My students uses their mates during resting time after lunch. The four purple mats truly came in hand due to some students were not able to get mats at the beginning of the year. Each student gets their mats and place them on their designated resting area. While the students are resting on their mats as they listen to soft lullaby music. After students wakeup from their naps they each put away their purple resting mats until the next day.

The students were very surprised when the mats were delivered to the class. Before I unpacked the mats the students an I went over some Do's and Dont's on caring for the mats. Each student do have their names on their mats. All mats are being well taken care of.

Since school is coming to a close, our next classroom project will be Clean Up! Clean Up!

Throughout the year we accumulate a lot of things in the classroom from books, paper, and crayons. So now its time to start preparing for the New Year by cleaning up the clutter.”
