  • Books to Get Students Excited

    Funded Oct 4, 2024

Student are growing in their fluency and comprehension thanks to your contribution to our classroom. When the students were given the books, their faces lit up. They couldn't believe that adults that they did not know care this much about them reading. They are more than excited to explore all of the new books that our classroom now has to offer.

With the new books, students are writing informative animal reports where they need to become experts about an animal. Students are loving the ability to partner read with the sets of National Geographic books. It is incredible to watch them support and motivate each other to read.”

  • Keep Our Students Healthy

    Funded Sep 6, 2024

Thanks to your donation, our classroom has been a clean environment where students enjoy learning. My students take pride in keeping our classroom clean and feel empowered when given the tools to do so. The overall verdict is that my students love the coconut smell of the wipes and say it makes the classroom smell "fresh" and "happy."

Now our class doesn't have to worry about getting messy during art knowing that any mess can be quickly and easily cleaned up. Your donation has allowed me to put more energy into teaching rather than worrying about the cleanliness of my students work spaces.”

  • Finish the Year Strong!

    Funded Feb 8, 2024

The materials you provided for our class are being used daily. Students are over the moon about the new marker box and have been taking extra good care of them so that they can be used for years to come. Students love that there are various shades of the same color, making them aware of the multiple shades that exist in the world around them. After receiving these new materials, students were able to use their own glue stick and didn't have to worry about running out or going through dried up materials.

Adequate materials are something that many people don't realize are missing from several classrooms, but due to your generosity, my students don't need to worry. Again, thank you for your donation. I hope you know that your positive impact is felt by many!”

  • Reading Space and Art Portfolios

    Funded Mar 12, 2024

Due to your donation, students had an opportunity to display an entire portfolio full of their art work. Students demonstrated great pride in showing their work to family and friends. This project brought a lot of joy into our classroom and taught students how to organize their work in sequence from the beginning to the end of the year. Providing each student with a piece of 2nd grade to take home with them and treasure for the coming years was a gift.

Also, our new activity rug is being put to good use! Students love to play math games and read on the rug as it provides a safe space for students. Many student express that they like how the rug it tucked in the corner of the classroom and makes them feel like they can relax. Thank you for making both of these project possible!”

Thank you for your generous donation to my classroom. My students have been sharing the new books and find great interest in the new stories that have been introduced to our classroom library. These books are the hot topic in class, we even dedicated our Read Across America decorated door to the series of "Elefante y Cerdita" by Mo Willems. Thank you for helping my students fall in love with reading!”

  • Beginning a New School Year

    Funded Jul 11, 2023

Thank you for setting my students up for success. We are approaching holiday break, and the materials you contributed to our class are still being used. Students have taken ownership of their materials and are learning to care for them properly. As young students, it is essential they learn how to be responsible for their materials, and so far they are doing great! Thank you again for your donation, you are making a positive impact in the lives of young students by giving them access to materials that support their learning.”

    With gratitude,

  • Class Organization

    Funded Feb 28, 2023

Thank you for your generous donation to our classroom organization project. The filing boxes and files have changed the flow of our classroom in the most positive way. Students can put away and retrieve work with ease. Not only do these items keep our class work organized, but it teaches students accountability when it comes to their work and turning it in.

As a first year teacher it was a challenge to find ways to keep the work of students in order. Due to this organization project being funded I was able to create a plan and watch it succeed.”

  • Tie-Dye Nature Field Trip

    Funded May 3, 2023

Thank you for your donation of t-shirts and tie dye. Our students were ecstatic to create their own tie dye and wear their art. This was a first time experience for the majority of our students and led to comment such as, "this is the best day ever!" Without your generosity this project would not of been possible. I truly believe that our students will hold on to this positive memory for a long time and inspire them to continue creating art. Watching students return to school with their tie dye shirts on brought great joy to our class, sharing in the different colors and patterns. Thank you again for making this incredible project possible.”
