Help Us Go Green!

We are able to do many "Green Team Projects" with you donations. We are recycling all the plastic bottles and paper in the school. The containers are put in every classroom to make recycling more accessible. We have already had 2 picks up for our plastic. A pick up includes 5 large blue bins (see picture).

The kids love to use the picker sticks to pick up trash and plastic bottles around the school. There is always a lot of water/gatorade bottles and trash on the field, which the green team cleans up. It is also great having the soap in the classroom.

The Green Team has section in our classroom room that has the award tree for helping with the school clean up. We use it for a few different contests. The contests usually last 1 month. A good one we did was "most compost collected" (veggies scrapes etc.)

The kids are really committed to helping the environment. We live in Miami and we are starting an oyster project that will help the watershed . It cleans the Ocean water. Thank you so much - it was so generous and you gave us things I could not get from our school. I have never done donors choose before so I don't have a ton of pictures but I will upload what I have.”
