Popping to Success!
Funded Nov 16, 2024We have been so successful due to the new recourses you have supplied to our classroom! They were shocked to see how many new racecars, fidgets, and reward tickets we got! They love that they are able to use the cars for learning while also playing with their friends during Fun Friday! They are so motivated to earn tickets and anxiously await to see which color they get and pick out their reward each week. We know our next project will have to be more prizes for our prize box!
Using the cars and pop its have supported our students as they grow into more confident readers. Using the cars and pop its have made our lessons engaging, hands-on and more meaningful. Because of the pop its, students are able to hear and "see" all of the sounds as they are writing and reading. The racecars have helped us to read smoothly and continuously in order to retain more words and read words automatically. We can't wait to continue to work hard and grow all thanks your extremely generous donations! We really appreciate it!”

Sensory Items for Success!
Funded May 10, 2024Thank you so much for your generous donations. Because our class was able to receive all the items, our new school year has been off to such a successful start! The pencil holders have been a great help in ensuring that each student always has a pencil and knows where their pencil is! We have all enjoyed using the phrase "park your pencil!" The sensory strips and tools have allowed for smooth transitions and have helped student advocate for support in order to enhance their learning. With a great variety of tools, we have been able to meet the needs of the wide variety of learners we have in our room. I can't wait to see how else the students blossom this year due to your contributions. We appreciate it so much!”

New Year, New Students, New Supplies
Funded Aug 21, 2023Thank you so much for your support in assisting us to have a year filled with learning and community building activities. We we are so excited to interact with so many new characters and games. The students are so eager to read new series and build their teamwork skills during Fun Friday. The new books will make independent and small-group reading even more engaging as students enter new stories and spaces. They will also help us learn/use important metacognitive skills as we read. The games and tools will promote collaboration and strategy thinking throughout the year that can then be applied to all the children do. We can't wait to see how much they learn and grow this year. Funded Mar 24, 2023Thank you so much for your generous donations! Because of you, we were able to do so many fun, engaging learning activities! When the students saw the new supplies, they were so eager to get their hands on them.
The new dry erase markers and erasers allowed for more practice on our white boards including letter formation, spelling patterns and solving various math problems. They also served as a great easel for the children to express their creativity during free time.
With so many new stories to read aloud to the class, we were able to learn really important life lessons and make connections within and outside of the school community.

More Tools!
Funded May 9, 2023Thank you so much for your support! Because of you, our class was able to receive more supplies that allowed our room to function seamlessly and safely.
The digital clock built independence as the students are asked to sign in and out each time they leave the classroom. With the clock, students were able to write the time on their own without distracting others while also allowing the teacher to know where they were going and at what time.
The privacy dividers promoted independent work and enabled students to focus at a higher level when completing more challenging tasks, such as tests. Feeling as if you have your own space in a room with others is important.
Finally, when the kids saw the reward treasure chest their jaws dropped. They are so motivated to earn their prizes by following the routines and being great community members.

Funded Nov 29, 2022Our class has been LOVING the new resources. Their jaws dropped when they saw we had new puzzles and even more Magna Tiles for them to choose from and play with! They are so happy they can get even more creative when they build as their are more tiles to play with but most importantly, more tiles to share so more friends can play together at once! Play-Doh has been a huge hit during Fun Friday and a great strategy when we need to calm down. The kids were shocked when they saw the reward treasure chest and are eager to earn all their stickers so they can pick one of many prizes! Thank you for all of your support!”

Funded Sep 13, 2022Thank you so much for you for your generous donations. We have had a blast using Magna Tiles to show our creative skills while working with others. We were able to place one of our gray comfy chairs near the clam down corner to give kids a break as they need it while also feeling safe and still part of the group. Additionally, we have learned many important life skills from the stories that we were able to obtain while also focusing on feelings and how to be positive members of our community not just in school but outside as well.
