  • Ecology Wildlife Museum Classroom Field Trip!

    The kids really enjoyed their Wildlife Museum projects. They were able to present their work to multiple grade levels and answer questions as "animal experts". They put in a lot of hard work and learned a lot about biomes, ecosystems, and habitats. They researched a specific animal and discovered its classification, diet, adaptations, and human impacts. Their project included: an animal fact card, a habitat map, a 5 paragraph essay, an animal paper puppet, and a clay model. Thanks for making this project so special for them!”

  • Stay In the News! Access to Current Event Digital Magazines!

    Our students have really enjoyed their Scholastic News Magazines! We are using them daily to support our guided reading rotations and practice using non-fiction texts.

    Students are listening to true and current events and responding to them in meaningful and engaging ways. They especially enjoy responding to texts on a sticky note and adding it to our wall. The worksheets are also engaging and fun. The students are always excited to read the high interest articles in our weekly magazines.
