Microscopes For Investigating the World Around Us

Part of my goal in my science classroom is to foster a wonder at and enjoyment of the world around us. Microscopes are an awesome means to that goal. By being able to explore the microscopic world we are unlocking a new level of wonder and amazement at this world. The microscopes you funded are crucial for this. We have already used them in our discussions of cells and students have enjoyed the time I set aside to let them explore the various specimens that interest them.

When the microscopes first arrived in my room, the kids were excited that we were getting some new items. These microscopes are considerably sleeker and "cooler" than our previous ones. Not to mention that they work consistently! I think the students were also shocked that others outside of our school care enough about their education to donate money to help them further their education.”
