Giving our Native American Youth a Voice and Safe Space.

My students have used the resources provided through Donors Choose at every meeting they have had and with almost every event they have participated in. For example, they were invited to have an informational table at Pueblo High School to recruit more members. They handed out pens, candy and snacks that helped attract people to come and ask questions. They also were able to give out pens in gift bags to presenter who were Alumni at a high school gathering event.

My student were so excited that they would have snacks at meetings and to give out at events. They are very thankful for the donations!

Our next steps are to continue meeting and planning events for their peers! The donations are and will continue to be beneficial to our meetings and outings, they attract people to learn more about Tribal Images Youth Council.”
