  • Kinetic Sand and Sight Word Fun!

    Funded Dec 1, 2021

Thank you for donating materials for our project on kinetic sand and sight words. We have been using the sight word workbooks to help us read and write our sight words. In addition, the workbook activities have also helped us strengthen our fine motor skills as children need to cut, sort, write, paste, and color as they unscramble the sentences. Students are also enjoying the kinetic sand molds and tubs. With the bigger tubs, students can easily manipulate and play with the kinetic sand. The new molds have fostered more creative play and language in the classroom during play workshop!

Once again, thank you for supporting education in the public schools!”

  • Holiday Celebrations 2021!

    Funded Dec 1, 2021

Thank you for your donations! My students jumped with joy when they saw all the holiday goodies! Students enjoyed decorating their stockings and creating an ornament to take home. The stockings were filled with stickers, pencils, notepads, pop-ups, stamps, erasers, and activity pads for students to enjoy during the winter recess. Students sharpened their holiday pencils and started jotting their favorite memories for 2021. Some students made a list of things they wanted to do during winter recess while some students made a list for Santa. We also discussed and wrote what academic goals we wanted to achieve in 2022.

Once again, thank you for bringing so much JOY to my second graders!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Lui

  • Dial Into Healthy Hygiene!

    Funded Oct 20, 2021

Thank you for providing the equipment needed to stay safe in the classroom. As we continue to learn during the pandemic, it is important for both students and school staff to have the necessary materials to stay safe and healthy. Masks are worn daily and school furniture is wiped down daily. Hands are washed often. Students are seated six feet apart from each other. The air filters will be used to replace the filters in our air purifiers throughout the school year. We are trying our best to learn in a safe and healthy environment.

Once again, thank you for funding the materials needed in the classroom during a pandemic.”

  • Basic Art Supplies For Second Graders!

    Funded Aug 26, 2021

Thank you for your generous donations to my classroom. My second graders were super excited to see all the bright Crayola water paints, markers, play doh, foam shapes, jewels, and googly eyes. We have been using the various art materials for making crafts, publishing, celebrations, and overall fun! We are using the baskets to sort the various art materials as we choose what we need to complete our art projects.

Once again, thank you for supporting education! Your support is greatly appreciated.”

  • Basic School Supplies For Second Graders!

    Funded Aug 26, 2021

Thank you for funding the classroom materials for the school year. My second graders were excited to have brand new pencil pouches, cushions, bottle holders, and a pencil sharpener! My second graders are using the cushions for meetings during reading, writing, and math workshops. Students are also responsible for sharpening their pencils weekly. We are also using the place value chart to keep track of the number of school days we had and learning our birthdays with the cupcake chart!

Overall, the materials you have funded have become an integral part of our classroom. Once again, thank you for your generosity.”

  • A Clean and Germ Free Classroom!

    Funded Aug 13, 2021

Thank you for providing the cleaning products for the new school year! The products will be used to clean tables, chairs, bookcases, seat sacks, baskets, and many more classroom materials as we get ready for the new school year! Students will be arriving into a clean and sparkling classroom! The Combat bait, cleaners, and Arm and Hammer will keep our classroom odor and germ free the whole school year. The disinfectant spray will be used to keep our classroom germ free. Since we are serving breakfast in the classroom, the Swiffer products will help us keep the classroom floor clean!

Thank you again for providing the materials for our classroom. I know both the students and parents will greatly appreciate having the cleaning products in the classroom.”

  • Yummy Snacks Part 2!

    Funded Dec 11, 2021

Thank you for donating snacks to my very hungry second graders! The long school day is a big adjustment for students. Students work non-stop in reading, writing, math, science, art, computers, and physical education during the school day. Their tummies get hungry before and after lunch. For some students, their day is even longer when they go to after school programs until 5:30pm. The snack provided a burst of energy for my second graders to finish their classwork and homework. My students enjoyed snacking on goldfish, cookies, chips, crackers, and fruit snacks.

Yummy! Yummy! Thank you from our tummies!”

  • Can You Hear Me Now?

    Funded Sep 23, 2021

Thank you so much for your donation! The voice amplifier and wireless microphone headset has made an immediate difference in my classroom. Since I am wearing a mask and have air purifiers in my classroom, it has been challenging for students to hear me during instructional time. With the voice amplifier, students can hear me throughout the classroom loud and clear! My second graders have been amazed with the quality and volume of my voice! We have also been able to build some shelves on the wall and in the closet to store our school materials and bins. This has freed up much needed classroom space.

Once again, thank you for your donation!”

  • Halloween Celebration!

    Funded Sep 23, 2021

Thank you for funding our Halloween Celebration project. The students absolutely had a blast decorating their pumpkins and masks. Students worked together to share the decorating kits to decorate their pumpkins. Then they designed their masks for witches, Frankenstein, and scare crows. Next, we paraded around the school building with our costumes and went trick or treating with our Halloween bags. Students collected candy, chocolate, and lollipops in a safe and fun environment. My students enjoyed visiting their kindergarten and first grade classrooms to collect treats.

Once again, thank you for providing this experience for my students. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.”
