Park View Crochet Club 2.0
Funded Apr 2, 2025I am so completely grateful and I feel incredibly blessed. Thanks to your kind donations my students will all be able to continue to learn to crochet. The response of my students has been exhilarating. So many want to learn!
I am blessed to be working in a community of talented and bright young people. Crochet, along with these kits, will really assist them in staying in top of their mental health. Plus crochet is so much fun! Thanks again for your support. You have really helped make a difference.”

Crochet for Teens!
Funded Sep 20, 2023Please accept my sincere apologies in the delay of this correspondence. My mother past away suddenly right when I was to begin my Crochet Club. It was a very hard time for my family and myself. Several commitments fell by the wayside.
I am happy to say that I did begin my Crochet Club this past February. The response and enthusiasm from my students has been amazing. They are so excited! I showed them several videos about how crochet is becoming popular among teens. I also stressed how crochet is a great tool for mental health.
The Woobles kits that were so generously been donated have really been amazing. I have been able to teach simple stitches through the Woobles site. I will definitely post pictures of the completed kits once students have finished.
We actually have had such interest that I do not have enough kits to go around. I'm planning on doing a second Donors Choose project to supplement what we have. I don't want any student to be with out. As it is, I am having a very hard time deciding who will get the kits. I was going to base it on club attendance- but many kids have already attended all the meetings!
Please know how grateful I am to your generosity and kindness. As many of my students are from a disadvantaged background, this really is the only way they can have access to these kits. My goal if for them to become lifelong enthusiasts of this great hobby. Many are already on their way! :)”
With gratitude,
Ms. Cacciola
