My students are a diverse and vibrant group, predominantly Black and Latinx, with a growing number of refugee students in recent years. They bring a rich array of cultural backgrounds and perspectives to the classroom, which enhances our learning environment. Despite the challenges many of them face, they are resilient, determined, and eager to learn. Their diversity is a source of strength, and they continually inspire me with their curiosity and perseverance.
