Expanding Thinking Through Construction

Thank you so much for donating and allowing my students to explore using the building blocks. Support for students working in the STEAM/STEM areas is so important. (Science, Technology, Art, Mathematics) They need to be able to work with their hands to explore all the ways that things can be built and that everyone has the ability to accomplish these tasks.

When the students were given the opportunity to do free exploration, they had so many great creations. Some also liked to use the challenge cards to create specific things. This allowed both types of thinkers to work in a way that was better for them.

It is because of your generosity that these students can explore and be thinkers with these materials!”
