  • Flexible Seating to Support Neurodiverse Young Learners!

    Funded Nov 29, 2022

Thank you again for your generosity! Each student is able to use this flexible seating option during important instruction and discussions. They are excited to use this tool to support their regulation and develop independence. The flexibility of these tools allow us to transform our seating arrangement easily. We often arrange the cushions into a circle during our morning meetings each day or into rows to see the smart board easily. The cushions stack neatly at the end of our school and students support the classroom set up by arranging the seats for each child. We are proud to be supported by you!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Bria & Sam

Wow! Thank you so much for your generosity. We are so thankful to have your support in creating a learning space that our students deserve. They are going to love exploring all of these sensory materials during our school day. We can’t wait to share photos of joy with you soon!”

  • Creating a Mindfulness Center for Young Minds!

    Funded Aug 26, 2022

Thank you for your thoughtful gift! We love our mindfulness center and how it has supported the social emotional learning of our students. The materials have transformed our classroom into a cozy, safe and kind learning environment. You can often find a student using our cozy corner during our daily quiet time, reading a story or taking a brain break. In this area students can find a basket of fidget toys or other brain break materials to help them with an independent activity. Many of our neurodiverse students need breaks throughout our school to help them to regulate. The smell of the lavender diffusing, focusing on a sensory object and relaxing on our classroom couch has supported our entire classroom. We are grateful for your generosity and support.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Bria & Sam

  • Exploring With Legos!

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

Our class have truly enjoyed the legos you gifted us! These materials are used during our choice time each day in small groups. Students enjoy playing collectively as they plan, create and perform a show for the lego people to enjoy or play independently as they construct tall buildings. We all love playing with legos and the endless creativity they hold. One of our neurodiverse students who struggles with verbal communication returns to legos everyday! She enjoys mimicking the emotions on the legos and adding body parts to create people. Everyone feels successful when they create with legos. Thank you for helping us to develop a safe, kind and fun learning environment!”

Thank you for your generous contribution to our classroom. We are grateful to have a printer and ink to print joyful activities for our class. Having a printer in our class will allow us to use our time to focus on differentiating instruction for each child. Also, thank you for the ink!”
