Teaching is Easier With Terrific Tennis Balls

Thank you so much for donating blue tennis balls to our classroom. Some may think that this request was silly, however my students did NOT. As soon as my students saw a huge brown box they were instantly fascinated by what may be inside. After many failed attempts to figure out what was inside, I finally told them that we have the solution to our almost hazardous classroom... Tennis Balls!!! The students already knew what was next. Each child grabbed 4 tennis balls and placed them on the legs of their chair. " Wow Ms. Foster, this idea to put tennis balls on our chairs for safety is great" said one kid. "Now I won't get stabbed with a chair leg" said another student. " Our class looks better also, Ms. Foster" said another. Every word was exactly what I wanted to hear. My students no longer have to worry about injury when putting their chairs up and down. The classroom environment looks so much better, the distractions of the chairs dragging on the floor are now silenced and most importantly my students love the little but major addition. Sometimes it's the little things that make a difference. So Donors, THANK YOU once again for providing my classroom with Terrific tennis balls that changed the environment of our classroom greatly.”
