Future Critical Thinkers Need to Explore and Learn Through Exploration
Funded May 8, 2024Thank you so much for the amazing STEM materials for my Pre- K class. My students have been able to be creative, develop problem solving skills, and have hours of fun learning and playing with the different materials in my Learning Centers.
The students have especially enjoyed playing with the Lakeshore Manipulative kit #1. I have seen the students team up to build amazing structures with the Stack and Create builders and the Pipe builders. The Lakeshore Slot a Shape builders and Waffle builders have been incredible for developing fine motor skills and igniting interest in solving problems and creating amazing structures.
The students have truly had a wonderful time experimenting with colors on the Light table by using the Light table set of manipulatives. The students have played with the letters and numbers on the Light table to develop their numeracy and pre-literacy skills.
One of my students' ultimate favorites is the Alphabots. This has been a fun and wonderful teaching tool.
Thank you so much for giving my students the chance to use these wonderful manipulatives to grow and develop their problem solving, pre-literacy, and number skills.”

Funded Sep 12, 2023Thank you so very much for the building materials for my little future architects and engineers. They have enjoyed using the bristle blocks to build bridges for The Three Billy Goats Gruff fairy tale, and just in general building and using their creative skills. The magnets and connectors have allowed the students to be imaginative and build amazing structures!
The students have loved using the different counters to count, match, sort, create patterns, and categorize! So much learning has occurred with these wonderful manipulatives!
The students have been sharpening their skills on the tying, buckling, and zipper boards. Thank you so much for providing the opportunities for the students to practice learning these essential skills.
Thank you again for your generous donations! The students have been growing and learning so much with the donated materials.”

Funded Aug 27, 2022Thank you ever so much for fulfilling my wish list for my class! My students have benefitted and have absolutely loved using and learning with all the manipulatives! In my Pre-K class, we learn by play, so daily I have centers set up for the students to go to and learn. I have a math and alphabet (ABC) center, as well as a writing and fine motor center. The children love using the capital and upper case letter stamps to make and spell their names. They have a blast strengthening their fine motor and color skills by playing the Gumball Grab game. I have used the Gumball Grab game in my teacher led center, as well as in my free choice centers. I have used the Language Lotto game and What Goes together games to teach and strengthen vocabulary, as over half my students are English language learners. The Counting Cones are the most popular! The children love counting and stacking the different colors (flavors) of ice cream on the number cones. My students' counting, numeracy, literacy, vocabulary, and fine motor skills have grown tremendously since school started! Thank you so much for your kind donations. We appreciate it so much and it has made such a difference for my students! We continue to use the materials all the time.”
