Wireless Listening Center For Ms. Houde's Kindergartners

For years I had dreamed of having a wireless listening center for my kindergarten students. I would help them untangle cords, watch cords get twisted and break, cords would come unplugged and little children would forget and walk away with the headphones on. They loved the listening , but it was a lot for me to keep up with.

When I decided to ask for a listening center on Donors Choose I want sure it would happen, but I was so excited, and surprised when my listening center- a wireless listening center was fully funded! I have been teaching for 28 years, but this was my first Donors choose project! And it has been a wonderful addition to my classroom!

As I had often noticed with my young students they are always on the go- this listening center is perfect! The children can sit together, apart, lie down, rollover- how ever they would like to get comfy while they listen to a story. They quickly learned how to turn them on, how to tune the headsets to the story and easily can pick their own books without getting all tangled in the cords. Thank you so very much.”
