Thank you for supporting one of the four guinea pigs left on the front door of our school building. One-eyed Willy is doing fine and living in a cozy new home with bedding that makes cleaning his cage easy. Students can see Willy and observe how he eats in his environment.
The other students can help clean his habit, feed him hay and vitamin C tablets, and hay him with his new water bottle. They can also allow the students to see him drink his water and change it when needed, teaching them to be responsible for another living creature.”

Thank you for your contributions. I am sharing pictures of Pre-K students learning about light using mini flashlights, walking around the room, and discovering their shadows and how they could form them with their hands and bodies as one student exclaimed, " I can make shadows with my hand!"
When the 4th graders used the same materials, they used the LED lights powered by the coin batteries. Students learned that current could only travel one way. The ᐩside connects to the longer lead, and the - side will connect to the short information.”

Ms. Kathy G.
