My students are eager and very excited about learning. They absolutely love our new e-beam and projector. We all just want to be able to interact with the e-beam in the way it is intended to be used. A 16 ft. cord is being used to connect it to a desktop computer. This means that I am behind the students when I am trying to teach lessons in writing, reading, and math. This is not very effective. I need to be by the students in the front of the room. Many of my students do not have access to computers in their homes. Over half of my students have only been speaking English for two years. The computer and e-beam open up a world to them that they would not have a chance to experience if it weren't for coming to school. I am able to use the Internet for a visual aid daily when introducing vocabulary, maps, photos, etc.
