  • A Cozy and Comfortable Reading Corner

    Funded Feb 13, 2025

    Thank you so very much for funding my project. My students will be so very excited to have cozy and comfortable seating to relax and enjoy reading. They have been working so hard to improve their reading abilities and these chairs will make them so happy to just “chill” and read! Again, thanks so much for your support for our students.”

  • Clean and Comfortable Seating for Students!

    Thank you so much for our new chairs. Our old chairs were old, not able to be cleaned and were just hard to sit on and keep focused on what the teacher was saying and focused on our work.

    We were so excited when we walked into the classroom and there were new chairs. The chairs are very comfortable and nice to sit in. We can now stay more focused on learning. They even match.

    You really know you make an impact on children when they notice something is new without you telling them.

  • Voice Output

    Thank you for the gift of an ipad to allow our student to be able to better communicate with her peers, family, and staff at school. We were able to use the new ipad to download an app known as ProLoQuo2Go. This app uses pictures and voice output to enable students who are nonverbal to be able to express themselves in a more productive manner. Our student did have an older ipad with this app, but it was smaller and was not working as well as it should and was becoming quite frustrating to use for both the student and others working with her. The new ipad is bigger, to allow for more pictures on a screen and is working at a faster rate. There is now less frustration and more learning and communicating happening.

    Some of the most exciting things about this product for our student is that it works at a faster rate so she is able to be more expressive with her wants and needs. This faster rate also lessened her frustration because she doesn't have to wait to let others know what she is thinking or what she wants and needs. We were also able to by her a new, very colorful, protective case with a strap that she absolutely loves and gives her more independence.”
