  • Readers Are Leaders!

    Because of your donations to my class, my "Readers are Leaders" project has had a tremendous impact on my students. They get the opportunity to read up to date books that they are interested in. They also get the opportunity to use some of the texts as anchor reading texts for each school term. Students also get a chance to closely read and apply some of those close reading strategies taught in class. My strong readers are extremely excited about the books, and they compete to see who can read more books.”
