TJ Talented Visual Art Program Supplies

My students were able to branch into a wider variety of projects than they were last year. This is most apparent in their Clay Sculptures that they are developing for this semester. I have seen an advancement in their attention to detail, technical skills, and overall personal investments into their assignments.

They were shocked when we received all of these supplies. Their initial reaction was a wide variety of questions about things they could do with them, and what is in store for the year. I can really say that they wholeheartedly appreciated this gift.

The next step in my classroom is to push them to start participating in art contests and exhibitions throughout the end of the school year. Participation in events like these really bring out a sense of pride in them so that they want more for themselves. I have hope that this plan is fruitful.”
