Gear Up For School!
Funded Aug 2, 2023Words cannot express how thankful I am for your support. I currently teach a total of 30 students. Since receiving the school supplies, pencil sharpener, and other materials necessary for me to run my class successfully, it has made a tremendous difference in how I deliver instruction and plan reinforcement lessons and activities.
The students are always eager to work with the red and ready dry erase boards. They eagerly write their responses and share them with the class when prompted. Amazingly, even those who are normally reluctant to participate are actively engaged in all lessons when using the boards to show their work.
Additionally, since I now have more supplies in the classroom that many students need daily to complete their assignment, not only are the struggling students more engaged in the assignments and building their skills, but the average and gifted students are receiving enrichment as well. We will continue to utilize these supplies during our mathematics, science and social studies instruction throughout the year. It brings me joy to see the students' enthusiasm, and it brings me joy to know there are people in the world like you who support educators and the things we are trying to accomplish in the classroom. Thank you again for your support.”

Funded Aug 26, 2022Thank you does not begin to express our gratitude for your support for our classroom. I currently teach a total of 33 - 36 students. Students are expected to work in workstations daily to help build their mathematical skills.
After receiving the resources, students were so excited as they unpacked the materials. They were ready to jump right into utilizing these resources. Amazingly enough, they started reading the boxes and working together to see what they had to do. Even my reluctant students gravitated to various stations and began to participate.
Since we received these additional materials for our math stations, struggling students have an opportunity to practice more and build their skills. Students who are average or gifted are receiving enrichment. We are currently moving to Fractions and we look forward to utilizing the Fraction Stax and Magnetic Fraction Circles -Bars. We will continue to engage and explore various areas of mathematics thanks to all of the people like you who support educators and their students.”
