Soft Seating for Reading
Funded Oct 31, 2024What a welcome surprise it was to receive the news that our classroom project was fully funded. Thank you parents and PAG team for your continued support! The new Big Joe and floor cushions will provide students with flexible seating options and movement within our classroom. Your generosity is greatly appreciated by me and the 5th grade students at Grant Elementary.”

All Hands on Deck - Geometry Tiles!
Funded Aug 15, 2023Students are enjoying the Geometry Tiles! When they first arrived the kids were very happy and I really appreciated the collapsible container that they can be stored in. The tiles are a wonderful hands on experience for everyone as we explore area and volume of 2D & 3D shapes!
In addition to the visual and tactile connection they provide, these tiles have served as a great tool for students with sensory issues. For students with
any sensory or regulating disorder, the classroom setting and routines can be overwhelming. These tiles are an engaging focal point that allow students to continue to listen to a lesson while being engaged in creating 3D structures.
We are all very pleased with this purchased and have been blessed by your generous donation.”

Funded Nov 29, 2022Our classroom enjoyed all the materials you helped provide during the 2022-2023 school year. The original order was changed significantly due to the seating we requested not being available, but the replacement items we received worked great - plus we got additional items! The students were delighted each time an order arrived!
The seating we received were large cushions. They were perfect for small group activities, reading around the room, and silent reading time. Each morning the cushions were assigned to five students. This was a rotation. It worked wonderfully so everyone had assigned days to use the cushions.
Flashlights! We also got flashlights! These were used frequently for science during our Solar System unit. We also had the power go out one day, so we had reading in the dark. Students love reading by flashlight. Now & again we'd throw a crackling fireplace on the Smart Board, put on some quiet music, and "read in the dark."
Solar System magnets! These were a huge hit with the students. The students were able to identify the planets, write the names on the whiteboard, and put them in order. They were an excellent tool to compliment our Solar System unit. Many, many thanks!”
