As you know, the past few years have been a whirlwind of change and challenge, from online learning to hybrid models, and finally, returning to in-person classes and we are still trying to close the learning gaps. Throughout this journey, our goal has always been to recognize and reward our students' hard work, perseverance, and dedication. One of the ways we do this is through our monthly raffle, where students earn entries based on their ClassDojo points. Your donation has truly elevated this experience.
The new materials you provided, including stuffed animals, card games, board games, fidgets, positive affirmation bracelets, and more, have been an absolute hit with the students. From the moment they first laid eyes on these exciting prizes, their reactions were priceless. Cooling Classrooms for Hard Working Students
Funded Jun 28, 2024Thank you so much for your generosity. We now have a working air conditioner that has transformed our learning environment, especially during the hot summer months. The air conditioner has become an essential part of our daily routine, providing a comfortable and conducive atmosphere for learning. Previously, the heat made it difficult for students to concentrate and engage fully in their lessons. Now, with a cool and pleasant environment, students can focus better, participate actively, and enjoy their time in the classroom.
Our Creative Writing Workshop is one specific project that has greatly benefited from the new air conditioner. This project involves students working in groups to brainstorm, draft, and revise short stories. During the brainstorming sessions, students gather in small groups to discuss their ideas and collaborate on story plots. The cool environment has made these sessions much more productive, as students can now sit comfortably and share their ideas without being distracted by the heat.

What excites our students most about the new photo printers is the opportunity to bring their projects to life in vivid detail. A lot of my student have never seen a photo printer in their life so when first time seeing the photo printed out, they were excited about it! They are also thrilled to see their ideas and hard work transformed into tangible prints, which they proudly display during their final project presentations. The ability to print photos of their projects not only enhances their presentations but also instills a sense of pride and accomplishment in their work.
Several students have demonstrated a keen interest in photography and digital media because of this project. They eagerly experiment with different techniques and editing tools to enhance their photos, showcasing their creativity and artistic vision. For these students, the photo printers have opened up new avenues for self-expression and exploration, igniting a passion for photography that extends beyond the classroom.
