Flexible Fun Furniture for Fidgety Flowers

Thank you so much for your generous contribution to my students.

My students were so excited when the packages started coming in. I told them how some incredibly kind and thoughtful people anonymously donated materials to our classroom that would make being in class more fun and comfortable.

Of course, they loved the jolly ranchers, and were highly appreciative that I was able to give out 3 to 6 pieces per class every single day. Thank you for allowing me to reward them in a way that they wish to be rewarded.

The students who choose to sit on the counters are typically the ones using the "surf desks", so, since I didn't feel we were making good use of the entire set of 10 surf desks, I am happy to share I was able to donate half of them to our self-contained, special-needs classroom, where students typically have unconventional seating. They were incredibly grateful to receive these surf desks, and from what I am told the students absolutely love them.

The cushions get used every single day! The demand for them is so high that I leave them out in a milk crate at my classroom's student station for easy access whenever the kids want them. I mean not a single class period or day goes by without them being used. At first the students were concerned that if they use them too much, the padding would get totally deflated. I assured them that the person who donated the cushions would be delighted to know that they are being used so much, that they are getting worn in. That being said, the cushions are in fantastic shape and very loved.
