    Thank you so much for your generosity and willingness to support my endeavor to get kids to read! In todays day and age, kids are so enthralled in technology that books and the notion of getting lost in a good book is completely beyond them.

    By doing extensive research and a lot of surveying I was able to curate a list of books that both represented who my students are and what they are interested in. Thanks to your donations I was able to initiate Friday "flex" days where students could read from the wide selection of books in my classroom library and expand their world.”

    With the help of your donations, students were able to create an ideal backpack design using human centered design thinking strategies.

    The engagement and interest in this hands on project was incredible. Students were able to learn so much about their peers through empathy based research and analysis.

    It was truly incredible to see the students work so hard and go above and beyond when designing their backpacks. I'm addition this was a wonderful project to engage students that are more tactile in the way they learn.”
