    Teaching in a inner city under funded community can be very hard to maintain materials and learning tools all on my own. I can't express how thankful and grateful I am that donors like you choose to make a impact on our community. Of course I always hope and strive for the best for my students but with the help from you it makes the biggest difference. Not only are we able to administer state testing in ways that can help our students succeed better, but it allows more flexible approach. This is due to the amazing help you have provided in the materials listed. Students are coming each year to first grade behind and in far reach of where they need to be. With the materials you helped us receive this will ensure we are giving hem a fair shot at this very scary world we live in. Thank you for choosing us and helping us in a time of great need.”

  • Small Group Superstars

    We are loving the resources ordered for small group instruction! As you may know literacy in young students is falling behind! It is our duty as educators to catch them up!

    I have used the resource purchased by your funding the cvc games to implement repetition so that my students can read!

    My student are eager to learn and static when finding out that i can provide resources to them to help make it fun! (Of course with the help of my donor).

    My next steps are to continue pushing literacy in my small groups and help fill the gap that my students need to succeed!”

  • Headphones for Learning

    Funded May 23, 2023

    This silly little item has made a world of difference for my students! They are required to meet standard minutes on their learning programs and by having these headphones they can do just that. My first year i started teaching i came in with none to give my students and figured that the district could help provide them. Oh so naive and hopefull i didn't understand that a district only has so much funding and headphones were not in store to be replaced each year.

    With that being said i couldn't express my gratitude enough for the headphones for my students. My students live in a low income community and having there families worry about headphones is the least of their concerns! Thank you for donating to a great cause my students truly appreciate them!”

  • Help My Students Become Great Readers!

    My students absolutely love their new book bins! They are able to go book shopping each week to pick their leveled reading for independent work. They were so excited to hear that many people in our world wanted to donate to help us get bins for our reading! They expressed such gratitude and happiness that we were able to make our classroom a great learning environment. Each student has something of their own to store their books! They were so thankful! We will continue to use our book bins for reading time and have organized area where we can store our books that we have picked out each week!”
