My students and I would like to thank you for your generous donation so that we could have a charging station up and running in our 6th Grade English classroom. We live in a day and age where technology at our finger tips is both a blessing and a curse: a blessing because we are given the outlet to explore information faster than ever before, but a curse especially in a classroom because it hinders our ability to learn in a more traditional setting without distractions. Cellular devices in classrooms have become a huge issue because students are more focused on text messaging and checking social media as opposed to the information given in class.

Your donation has helped create an environment in my classroom that allows students to focus on my lessons that will guide them on their life long journey of education, while charging their precious item at the same time. When I introduced this concept of a charging station to my students they were beyond excited and couldn't wait to start using it! Your donation has provided a maximum of 20 designated slots and multiple chargers regardless of what type of device my students use to help them charge up all while being motivated to learn! Of course, there are rules that my students must abide by so that they can use the amenities. Because of these rules, students have come to class late less frequently which increases their engagement level into my lessons.
