Color Printer and Scanner
Funded Oct 16, 2023Thank you so much for helping my students get a color printer with a scanner. You rescued us just in time because my black and white printer broke earlier this month. We are excited about using the new one for many colorful projects. Your generosity is so very deeply appreciated.”

WWII Novels for English Class
Funded Dec 29, 2022Thank you so much for my books. I am using "The Book Thief" for my honors English class and "Night" or my other English classes. The kids are really enjoying them. I usually read aloud to them in class because I have a few students who don't like to read and won't do it if I assign it as homework. After the chapter in "Night" about Mrs. Schacter, one student who rarely engages (literally has her head down sleeping most of the time) sat up and said, "Ms. Edelhart, that was actually interesting!" Her eyes were closed and her head was down, but she was listening! I am getting through to them. Thank you!”

Keyboards for Essays
Funded Aug 10, 2022My students are working on iPads. Some of them are comfortable with typing on a screen because they text so much on phones, but I always have a few who are more comfortable typing on a keyboard. Particularly for essays and longer responses, it is important to have the option of a keyboard for my students who prefer one. Pretty much every time I assign a longer writing assignment, at least one or two each period requests a keyboard. For my students who already struggle with writing stamina, this is one less barrier to completing an essay. Thank you so much!”
