Funded Sep 29, 2022My students and I are eternally grateful for your meaningful contribution to our class. The students were very excited to use the paint in many of the projects we have done in class such as the painting of toilet paper rolls to be used in our parent engagement activity, as you can see in the pictures included. Not only did this paint provide opportunities for the children to express themselves through painting but it has been instrumental in teaching them how to trace and to copy lines as they work on their fine motor skills.
The sensory ball, the xylophone, the model clay, the ball run and the basket of food toys were an incredible source of motivation for all the children in the classroom. They were stimulated to complete their work so that they could have a turn using one of these toys. These toys are used everyday to encourage each one of them to learn many basic skills such as the names of common food items.
This week we are working on a multicultural project focusing on the county of Yemen, the nationality of one of my students. We will be using the paint again to work on Yemen's flag and map.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Ive
