Funded Aug 20, 2024Students in my garden club were thrilled to see the gloves, knee pads, and seeds for our school garden. With excitement, they claimed their gloves, grabbed a knee pad, and began pulling weeds and preparing the garden for the seeds. They started with the radish and lettuce seeds. The radish is starting to grow and the students can't wait to harvest it! We are looking forward to seeing the lettuce grow as well.
Thanks to your generous donations, the students were given this opportunity to work, thrive and grow in the garden. I heard some students say, "pulling weeds is relaxing." Others showed their joy in seeing the radish leaves popping out of the soil. The Garden community is growing, as well as their love for nature, the environment, and their desire to learn about growing and harvesting their own healthy food. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. This would not have been possible if it wasn't for your thoughtfulness and generosity.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Hataye
