  • Literacy Integration in the Music Room

    Thank you so much for contributing to my donors choose project. This is my first year with 2 classrooms and being able to have your support to make my classroom the best it can be means so much to me.

    I believe strongly in diverse literature in the classroom and my new bookshelves and books will allow all students to see themselves in the literature that we explore in my class. I am so grateful!! The bookshelves are all set up, and we have been able to enjoy many of the different stories among several grade levels.

    My students were so excited to see the new bookshelves and books, and they make my room look so complete and much more welcoming. I would like to add many more great books to my classroom library and book display over the coming years so that students can learn about many different musicians and subjects and find joy in reading and making music together.”
